Ryan's Homecoming!!
Well, finally after two long years my brother is home from his mission. He got home on December 10. His plan was due to arrive at about 8:30 so we all headed up to wait for him at the airport, and yes, I was one of those people holding up signs for my missionary in Salt Lake City. I swore I would never be one of those people, and here I was doing just that. So we waited for what felt like forever. Kiera passed the time by playing with her Uncle Eric. She had him laying on the floor, and whenever he tried to get up, she would push back down. It was great. And finally Ryan came down the escalator and we all screamed, there were hugs, some crying, and tons of excitement. We are so happy to have Ryan home.

If I can get the time I will put the video of Ryan coming home, but for now...enjoy!

6 Months
Well Rylan has made it to 6 months. His face got a really bad rash after his allergic reaction. His body cleared up but we had to take him back to the doctor for the rash on his face, where we got two different creams and have been getting the chance to apply them what seems like constantly. Other than that he is almost sitting up, moving around pretty good. He is making his way across the floor my rolling around. I believe we may finally have him sleeping through the night!!! This is one of my favorite milestones. Though I will say that since we have two kids now, just because one choose to sleep through the night, the other one has different thoughts..and then wakes up the other one. Such fun, and I do so value my sleep :) What else, he is starting to eat his cereal better....Rylan is also starting to love his bath time. He has now started to play in the bath tub quite a bit. He learned that he can roll over in the water ( which of course means the water has to be at a really low level and Rylan closly watched.) When I try to roll him back over he screams at me. He is so big, and when he is happy, he has a wonderful smile, and when he is mad.....well lets just say he is his mother's son. We are so lucky to have him in our life.

Cute pictures
Here are some cute pictures of Kiera and Rylan. They are in their church clothes. They look soooo cute if I do say so myself.

Thanksgiving Weekend
Well, this year Thanksgiving was a blast! We had so much family in town. My Aunt Rosie and Uncle Tom came with their family from Virginia. I also had my family from Boise come down, Uncle Norman and Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Ray and Aunt Charlotte, and my cousin Amber and her husband Mike. My brother came up from Arizona with his girlfriend Jodi and my cousin Jenae. We had more cousins from other locations as well, like Jeff and Marianne, Tommy and Shayna, Peter and Jen. Then on Friday we had even more family in town from my Uncle Nephi and Aunt Rubbie's family: Cassie, Christy, and Fawn with some of their kids.

We had a great time hanging out and catching up. The dinner was Fantastic!!! I'm so lucky to have such great cooks in my family.
We got to go out to some Black Friday Shopping...what a way to spend your birthday, crowds, traffic, and nosiy babbies. Then I got to spend some time with my brother Jason and Eric and Eric's girlfriend Miranda ( no idea how to spell her name). It was nice to spend quality time with my brothers, I don't get to very often.
We also got together and enjoyed watching the BYU vs. Utah game on Sat. My cousin Jeff is on the team. I got to go for my birthday and what a game it was! We won..in over time! Of course I was unfortunate in the fact that my husband and I had to leave early because my baby wasn't eating anything! The sacrifices we make for our children!

5 Months
Well, here are some pictures of Rylan...he is doing pretty good. We found out that Rylan isallergic to penicillian, so yeah on that front. He is starting to sit up better, but isn't quite doing it on the his own. He isn't sleeping through the night yet...which is really getting on mommy's nerves. I would do anything for a good nights rest right about now....maybe not anything but you know what I mean. Other than that we are just trying to get into our house and feel at home. Rylan and Kiera are keeping us busy. This is the new toy we got Rylan, he enjoys it as long as he is in a good mood. He is really starting to jump around in it.

Halloween
So Halloween is was not as much fun as planned due to Kiera and Mommy coming down with was is being sad was the "swine flu." A week or so ago Jason and Mandy both came down with the flu and went to the doctor and was told it was the swine flu....no testing though. So I guess since both me and Kiera came down with the flu this week that is what we got??? Not fun. So we ended up not doing a whole lot for Halloween. Good thing though is that Kiera did get before me, so by the day of she felt pretty good, so Mommy pushed through and got her dressed up to go to the wards Trunk or Treating. We figured that for this year this would have to be enough and I think Kiera got about what she needed. It is interesting to watch each year as she gets a little more and more excited. She does love her candy. She went as a fairy this year and Rylan got to go as a pumpkin. Hopefully next year we can all be well so that we can enjoy it all the more. Enjoy the pictures...of course I'm not in any of the pictures cause I was sick and not looking so good.

Cornbelly's
So Cornbelly's is just down the road from us. So we decided to go and check it out.
They had all these fun things to take picture on. I think my sisters might have enjoyed it more than Keira did, but it made for some cute pictures.
These were big trampoline pillows. Kiera loved them, I on the other hand stayed far away from them.
Kiera loved these big slides, big surprise!
This is everyone going up to go down the slides.
Riding behind the tractor.
This is the haunted creature. Very interesting.
Kiera and I in the corn maze.
Grandma Mullis holding Rylan in the corn maze. He loved being outside and watching everything. He was great the whole time!
Daddy and Kiera in the Corn Maze. He got to carry her some of the time, and the other she walked. We got her this backpack with a leash. She loves having her own backpack.. We don't use the leash that often...but its nice to have just in case.
Let the Duck Races Begin!
I'll have the Halloween pictures up soon, promise!

Happy Birthday Kiera!
Well, my baby girl went and had another birthday, she is now 2!! I can't believe how fast times has flown. In some ways it feels just like yesterday we were trying to get pregnant and every month was an emotional roller coaster, and now I have two kids. Crazy. I feel so blessed to have Kiera. She has a giggle that you can't help but laugh along with her. She loves to watch her TV shows, mainly Mickey Mouse. She gets so excited when she sees Mickey on the screen....or any where else for that matter. She loves to get into her aunts make-up. Her new thing is to grab cotton balls and rub them on her face, because that is what her mommy and her aunts are doing. She is starting to learn more and more words. She copies what you say a lot more and she is doing really well wish some of her animal sounds...cow says MOOOOO. is one of the ones she knows. She also loves to play with water. She has discovered that she can get water out of grandma's tub. I'll be feeding Rylan and next thing I know she is soaked. She is such a very happy girl, nothing keeps her down for long. She already is getting very good at ignoring me too..that part is a little frustrating, but then she looks at with that big smile...and what are you too do....Stand strong put her in time out, and melt on the inside.

We had a big birthday party for her. I made her a pony cake this time. I think it turned out okay. We then opened presents and she really got into tearing the presents open this time around. She got an outfit, play doh, a pony, boots, a coloring book, and a fisher price farm house from Jason and I. From Grandma and Grandpa Mullis she got a coat, a singing cat, a v-tech toy that hooks up to the tv. It was really fun to watch her reactions as she opened the presents. She opened the Boots first and the moment she saw them she got excited and said "SHOES." Overall it was a really good day and I think Kiera really enjoyed it. Below are some pictures from our 'party'. Enjoy!
