Kiera Starts Preschool

So this September Kiera got to start preschool. She was extremely excited for this step in her life. Even still  she loves to go. Her question for the first couple of weeks, today I go to preschool?  Every morning. Now she has pretty much gotten use to the routine. Here she is on the first day. Rylan was excited too...until he realized he wasn't going to stay at school with Kiera.  As of yet, they really haven't been apart a whole lot.  So when we dropped her off we went in with her.  She had no problem with me leaving, and Rylan cried the whole way home because he wanted to stay. You expect tears on the first day right?  Just not from the child that gets to stay with you.  Feeling so loved :)  Since the first day though Rylan is more than happy to come with me, so feeling better.

Kiera is doing pretty good at school. She is currently at her second field trip. So that adds to the experience. She has really gotten in to cutting paper since she started. I now have small pieces of paper all over my floor regularly.

August in Review

August Update...We got sick, we blessed Logan...everyone else got sick.  That pretty much takes care of the first part of August.  The second part was pretty much more of the same.  I tackled potty training with Rylan again, still no success.  He just doesn't want to...I gave chocolates as incentives...still didn't work. We got underwear to let him wear, not really interested in it. Currently I have a present on the fridge waiting for him to start to go in the potty.  Hopefully we will be able to figure this out soon. Other than that August was just more of the same, and that is alright by me.

Here are some pictrues:

Aug 12 - Logans Blessing

So on August 12 we blessed our newest member of the family.  My brother Eric and his wife, Marinda, was coming in to town to walk for Graduation.  We were going to go to that and then that Sunday was the blessing.  Instead Rylan got sick the Wed. before, by Thursday night Kiera and I followed.  Saturday night, Jason was down for the count. This was no fun flu...I was out all day.  So when Jason came down with it we thought maybe we should cancel...then decided that hopefully Jason would feel better by morning.  Fortuantly he was done throwing up so we went through with it....It was a loooonnngg day though for him.  The blessing was good and with in the week almost everybody that had shown up had gotten sick as well.  But here are some pictures of my handsome little boy in his blessing outfit.  He was very cute and my mom did a awesome job on the outfit.

A very sweet cousin

So I have this cousin, Tara Pugmire, who does photography for a living.  She has gotten really good at it and takes wonderful pictures.  I got to see her a couple of weeks ago and she offered to take a few pictures for me...I think they turned out wonderfully, and I was so greatful cause we weren't going to do any newborn pictures.

An update

It has been awhile since I last wrote, but things are going well.. Logan did finally pass his bili testing and was able to escape the blue lights once and for all.  We have all enjoyed getting used to have another child around.  Kiera continues to enjoy holding her baby brother, and can be seen singing to him once in awhile. Rylan is slowly growing in interest toward his new brother.  I look forward to when they can play together.  No rush though, cause I am enjoying having a wonderful baby right now.  Logan has proved to be a great baby.   I enjoy just sitting there and holding him. Though when I can't he tends to be pretty good on his own, playing and kicking.  Our biggest complaint is that he hates his car seat.  We spend many a trip listening him cry the whole way to our destination.

Logan had a great two month check up.  He weighed 13 lbs which put him in the 83%, and he was 24 in which put him in the 88% for height.  Here are some pictures over the last little bit.

This is what my other kids tend to do while Mom is busy with Logan....

Lucky my to have such a great family!!!

Rylan Turns 3!

Well shortly after bringing Logan home we got to celebrate Rylan's 3rd Birthday.  I can't believe how quickly time flies.  In some ways it feels like we just brought him home from the hospital.  Now he is 3 and we are doing it all over again with another baby boy!

Rylan is an amazing kid... He is afraid of nothing it seems.  He is always climbing or jumping over something.  He is constantly trying to keep up with what his sister is able to do, and many times surpassing her.  I have to keep a good eye on him because he knows how to get the food he wants out of the refrigerator and cabinets.  I have found a stash of cheese and poptarts in his bed.  I have also walked downstairs to check on him and found him at the table eating cold pizza on a plate.  He loves watching tv and movies, in fact his new favorite thing to do is watch netflix on our I Pad...something he would do all day if we allowed it.  In fact a coupe of weeks ago I went to check on him after I had put him to sleep at night to find him sitting on his floor with a stolen I Pad.  He loves playing with his cars and dinosaurs. Once in a while you can see him playing ponies or barbies with his sister...mostly just ponies though. He loves animals, though I don't know if I can say animals love him :)  He has one of the most contagious smiles and laughs and he knows it. He will use them in order to get out of trouble, at least to try to get out of trouble.  We love him so much and are so very glad and blessed to have him in our lives.

We had a party up at my parents house and Jason's parents were able to be there too.  We had a great time, here are some pictures.  The blue glow is from Logan's Bili lights that was forced to be undr.

Presents, from grandparents and parents

Rylan really got into helping Daddy put together his new truck.

Bringing Home Logan

We got to come home from the hospital on May 29.  Here are the pictures of Logan in his car seat for the first time.

We were so excited to bring Logan home and to get out of the hospital.  Here are a couple other pictures once we got him home.

Logan has had jaundice, so for the last 4 weeks this is how he has spent half his time.
