Sanddunes

This past weekend Jason's family came to visit on Thursday night.  They stayed with until Saturday and then we all headed up to Idaho Falls for my niece's baby blessing. It was a fun weekend.  Friday, Jason's Uncle Darwin took us all out to Sanddunes and let us play with his ATV's. It was a lot of fun.  The moment we got there they took them out.  The guys didn't waste a min. Here is Jason with all the gear on.

Here is on the ATV

Here are all the guys ready to go out.

Kiera really enjoyed the day outside.  She even got a chance to ride the ATV with Daddy and later in the day Grandpa took her out.  I didn't get a picture of that because I was out at the time as well.

Got some pictures with Rylan on as well.

Don't worry Rylan didn't get to go anywhere.  He just sat on it.  The rest of the day he enjoyed playing in the mini van with Uncle Ty and his girlfriend Courtney.  He even got a hold of some 5 hour energy.  He didn't get any of it thank goodness.  Could you imagine what that would be like.

All in all it was a great day.  Only a couple people fell off the ATV.  Courtney when she was riding with Ty, and I fell off twice.  I know, go me.  It was my first time driving them.  The first time I fell off, I really shouldn't have.  We were on the trails and I come up a hill at just the wrong angle and ran into the bush on the side.  Fell sideways and brused up my thighs real good.  The second time I was out on the sand dunes.  We were about to go down a hill, and from what my husbands said, I took it at an angle instead of going straight over.  So I went flying off and me and my ATV rolled down the hill separtly. No more bruises (besides my ego) but my back was sore.  I could hardly sit the rest of the day and Saturday wasn't too much fun either.  Luckily things are getting back to mostly normal. Bruises are still around, but what more could expect.  They have turned some very pretty colors.  It was a great time and I look forward to going again, though I think I might stick to the trails until I'm more comfortable. :0)

MMMMMM Good

My Little Chipmunk

So Rylan does this thing when he eats, once he decides he is done or doesn't like the food, he just keeps everything in his mouth and refuses to swallow.  Sooner or later he starts to spit it out, but below is the effect.

OH, and what is it with kids and dishwashers?  Really what is the appeal?

Fun on the Staircase

Can I just say that I love my two little ones! Yes they are a handful, and specially at 3:00 in the morning as I listen to Rylan cry I sometimes ask myself WHY!!! But then I hold him in my arms and he is happy and content or he smiles and my heart melts. With Kiera it is the same..she is such a handful, in to everything. The other day I walked in on her playing with Rylan, she was putting Desitin all over him, what a mess! I would have taken a picture, but due to the fact that it was on his face and close to eyes and mouth I was more worried about getting it off him. But then she smiles at you and says sorry, or I love you, and tries to kiss you and how can you stay mad for long at the girl? She has a contagious smile and seems to be forever happy. Yes, she does get grumpy sometimes and sad, but for the most time she is just a happy child. Even when she gets sick and is throwing up all through the night, the next morning she is feeling better and talking nonstop about how she threw up smile on her face the whole time.

Anyway, here are some pictures I took of us on the stairs. Rylan has figured out climbing up, so I took pictures to document and of course Kiera wanted in on the action. I'm trying hard to find time each day to turn the TV off, put chores aside and just play and enjoy my kids. With the move and holidays it has seemed way to easy to just let them watch TV or play on their own. I do love them though!
Here is Kiera throwing a fit to get her picture taken

Don't you love her hair here? This is what happens when Mommy does her hair and then she sleeps on it.

Here Kiera is trying to help mommy put the shelves together. She loves to help!
