June 4th

Rylans birthday.  2 years ago he came into our lives and we are so very lucky for it.  Rylan is amazing in so many ways.  He loves his balls,  he is almost always seen carrying one with him.  For his birthday we got him a basketball hoop that he was very excited to start playing with.  He has also gotten into those Nerf guns.  My sister has one and he loves to find and play with it.  One time he even shot grandpa while he was sleeping and was so proud of himself.  He starting doing a little dance.  Fortunately for grandpa it wasn't a direct shot, it hit something else first.  He loves running, playing outside, and water.  He keeps us on our toes for he is always climbing up everything.  I'm sure he is like most careless two year olds.  He seems to be picking most things up.  He talking is a little slow and we believe this has to do with his hearing.  We are taking him to an ear specialist in July and we will find out if we will be doing tubes or not to help his hearing.  Other things to know about Rylan, he seems to have a reputation and every wedding he has gone to, the chocolate lover.  Yes, my kid is addicted to chocolate.  We do our best to monitor it around the house, but big occasions like wedding...and even spending time at Grandma and Grandpa's house, that can get very difficult.  This last wedding we had a chocolate fountain, and Rylan took a plate and stuck it under the chocolate.  What a mess.. :0)  Well he are some pictures to document my little mans life on this earth so far.

I was trying out my new camera I got for Mothers Day, the kids just happened to be eating at the time...



Rylan picks at his scabs, these were on his face for at least a month, if not longer.  Finally got them clear though.

Rylan fell and bite his tongue...almost needed stitches.  If I live through his childhood I will be lucky.

Well, June is next. I have a big post about Rylans birthday.  I can't believe that my baby is 2!

I'm so far behind in my blogging. Life has been so busy. In May my brother Eric got married. He was married May 21 in Portland Oregon. It was a great day, and the happy couple looked wonderful. Of course, yet again, I don't have any good pictures of them, but Marinda was beautiful. Eric had a bunch of his friends from Jasper make the trip so that was really cool. It was interesting and nice to see all of them there, I'm sure Eric had a good time with them. Jason and I made the trip up there and left the kids in Boise with their Grandparents. It was so nice to be able to be a part of all the wedding festivities.

The night before the wedding we tried to go to this restaurant off the river. It didn't work out but we got some pictures by the river before we left.

 Here are a few pictures I did get the day of. They were all taken at the lunch after the wedding, since that was the only time I thought to grab me camera.

This is Brock, a friend of Ryans from Jasper.  He is going to school in Utah though and went up for the wedding.

 On the way home we stopped by this waterfall about 30 min outside of Portland.  It was a lot of fun and beautiful.  We even climbed all the way to the top of it.  Jason, Ryan, Mandi, Kristyn, Uncle Ray, and myself.  It was a good workout.
