The two that worked are to show just how bad Rylans Chocolate addiction/ temper is. I really don't let him eat a lot of chocolate on a normal basis because of what you will witness. He does get some on a semi regular basis but not a lot...My goal with him, try to teach him moderation before he gets older and ends up fat and unhealthy because he doesn't know how to eat in moderation. Anyway, for now it makes for some funny videos.

Videos of Easter
I was going to post a video of the Easter hunt, but it wasn't working, so you will have to look at the pictures in the post below.

Happy Easter!
Well, Easter has now come and gone and we had a wonderful day. It started off with our kids hanging out in bed with us for a little while since they didn't know what was waiting for them downstairs. I know this will change since Kiera is starting to get old enough to know what is going on. we went down stairs and the kids enjoyed figuring out why there were Easter baskets at their seats. It seems to always take my kids, even Kiera a little while to figure out what is going on, no matter how much we talk it up. They both enjoyed their new bubble guns they got. Kiera also got a princess towel and Rylan got a bowling toy.
We spent the rest of the morning playing with their new toys and then off to church. We then went up to my moms house and spent the rest of the night hanging out with the family. We did things a little backward and painted the eggs that afternoon at my parents. My brother Eric really wanted to be part of it, so we waited since the kids don't know any difference at this point.
When we went down stairs to the basement to find eggs, they got into that really quickly. I don't know why but my kids have to open the eggs as they get them. So instead of a made race to get as many eggs as possible, Kiera grabs and many as she can, opens the candy, and then goes and gets more. Mean while Rylan is grabbing one egg, opening it, putting the candy in his basket and the egg on the couch. They had fun with the whole thing, so thats all that matters.
| This was Rylans spot on the couch for the eggs after he had taken the contents and put them in his basket. |
Rylan had problems at breakfast that morning, you see Rylan has a bit of a chocolate addiction. So when we went up to eat breakfast, he didn't want to eat. He cried for what seemed like forever because he wanted his chocolate, not his cereal. We were finally able to get some decent food down him, and then straight to the chocolate.

Been A While....
It has been a while since I've written, so I'm just writing to let everyone know I'm still around. The last month or so have been crazy, fun, and hard. Rylan ended up with another head injury and got staples in his forehead at the beginning of March. My back was hurting so I was as quick as I normally am and Rylan went running away from on the bed. He got to close to the edge and went flying off and into the corner of my hope chest. The cut was nasty and scary, you could see his skull. I didn't know that at the time but that's what the doctor told me when we got there. I was completely freaking out, worried for my son and feeling like the worst mom ever. Fortunately Rylan is doing good and there is only a pink scar left. Hopefully it will heal more. The kids are doing really good and I will have updated pictures of them soon. I'm really not sure of what else to share at the moment. Just know that the Payne family is doing good and looking forward to the end of Jason's last semester of his Masters.
