Kiera and Kristyn's Clothes

So, my little sister, Kristyn, has been living with me for the last few weeks. She stayed behind when my parents moved so that she could be in the community play, High School Musical. She is a cheerleader. Well, Kiera is at that stage where is she learning how to put clothes on, and she loves shoes. She has started to raid Kristyn's closet and put on her clothes. Below is Kiera in Kris's underwear and the other one is Kristyn's shorts. The shoes are mine...nothing stays where its suppose to anymore.

My new worst enemy

So, with Jason gone, I have had to learn how to...cut the grass. I have decided that mowing, isn't the worst thing in the world. Not my favorite thing in the world, but I can do it. Now, this on the other hand, I don't like.

Yes, the weed-eater is my new worst enemy. I don't like it, and it doesn't like me. In fact if I didn't know better I would think it was out to get me yesterday. I was just happy to get the edging done and not get hurt. The cord on the weed-eater broke I don't know how many times (which shows how much I stink). At the end I just didn't care anymore, I got the worst parts done, and I didn't feel like fixing the stupid cord again, so I just put it up. Can I just say that I will be happy when I have my husband back to this stuff!

1 Month and Happy July 4th!

Well today marks Rylan's being with us for 1 month! I hope everyone had a very happy 4th of July. We had a good day, though our plans of playing at the park were changed due to rain..of all days, urgh! It was a good day still, and most importantly is the reason we are celebrating it. I am so grateful to live here and for the people who fight to help us keep our freedoms. We are all so truly blessed.

And on other news, Rylan is 1 month old. Time has flown by! I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to be a mom to these two wonderful children. I look at them and I'm just overwhelmed. Rylan is growing so quickly, it just amazes me. He is starting to be awake a little more often and is keeping me on my toes. Specially watching Kiera and making sure she doesn't hurt him by accident. She wants to help so badly. When he cries she wants to help take care of him and tries to hold him. She loves to kiss and hug him. I have to make sure I'm watching though, the other day he was sleeping in his bed and I was working in the kitchen. Kiera was playing in the living room, all of a sudden I hear Rylan, and Kiera isn't in the living room anymore, I walk into my bedroom and Kiera has climbed into the Rylan's bed!
