More news

We have some more great news that we have been holding on to. Technically it has been out for a week now, but with the arrival of Rylan I hadn't gotten around to posting it yet. It looks like the Payne family will get to move to Utah though. Jason went and got a job for a company in Salt Lake City call CR England. He is very excited to moving back west and for the opportunity of working with a new company and new people. I'm of course excited to be remaining close to my family (really close for a little while since we will be living with them till our house sells here in Jasper). The next couple of weeks though are going to be very hard. Jason leaves on the 19th so he can start his new job on the 22nd. I get to stay here for a few weeks with the two kids. One, I just had a kid and figured I would need a little bit more time before I made the move west, and two my sister is sticking around for a musical that she got a part in. So yeah it will be interesting. Well, just thought I would share the news, we are very excited for the change and the new experiences that will be coming!

Welcome Rylan Kennieth Payne!!!

Well we welcomed Rylan Kennieth Payne into the world at 2:50 Am June 4, 2009. I went to the hospital Wed. morning to be induced, we got the meds going at about 8:30. My husband dropped me off, and then at about 9 my mom showed up to keep me company for the day. My sisters were wonderful and took care of Kiera for us. I can't remember all the times, but I know that by 7 I was to a 5 and got my epidural. It took till midnight before we could start pushing..fortunately I wasn't feeling much at the time, so I watched a movie and took a nap. We ended up pushing for about 2 1/2 hrs....so much fun. I actually ended up having them stop the epidural at the end, so by time he came out I was feeling the contractions and enough of everything else to be happy that I wasn't feeling more. So, after a long day Rylan finally entered the world measuring 8 lbs 12 oz and 20 3/4 in long. A big boy, with a full head of dark hair. We have enjoyed the last day spending time with him. Mommy is already in love with the cute little guy. Kiera enjoyed meeting her brother for the first time. My sister Mandy was holding him when she came in. She sat on my lap and noticed there was a baby in the room. So we brought him over and she held him. She pointed out his nose, and his eyes...She loves babies, of course I don't think she is aware of how much this baby is going to be in her life. It was a good first meeting though. Here are some pictures of the last couple of days.....
